Would You Pay $2.5 Million For THIS Watch?

Time is money—and apparently it’s worth $2.5 million.

Or at least, that’s how much an anonymous bidder at the Phillips Hong Kong Watch Auction seems to think it’s worth. The ballin’ bidder walked away with some serious wristwear, a one-of-a-kind rose gold Patek Philippe reference 2499 watch.

The watch is one of the rarest individual watches ever made, since Patek Philippe only makes a handful of time pieces each year.

This particular watch was made between 1951 and 1988, and it’s one of a mere 349 ever made. The age, condition, and small details make the watch worth a value that high.

A word to the wise: Be sure to keep all your belongings nice and shiny just in case they’re worth millions one day!
